    LOL. Not above the speed limit, I hope!

    By the way, I've read that 2X4s can stall out when making sharp turns. Turning which way? What causes the stalling?

      left turns because fuel is sucked in to the choke vacuum passage. the installation of a piece of tubing in the passage where the main body and top meet together will stop it. i would guess most all carbs have had this fix done by now.

        That is what I did and it worked. I did some road course and autocrossing with it and experienced the starvation until installation of the tubing. I did alot of prep in the 60's based upon "Guide to Corvette Speed" by Ludvigsen (IIRC). Without computers and calculators used slide rule, wrenches, screwdrivers, and hammer for mods.
