70 Half shaft Hardware L46

I could use some clarification on the finishes.

The TMIJG says natural.

I did a search and the only thread that popped up said the u bolts and nuts were phosphate treated.

Based on what mine originals looked like I was thinking the following.

U bolts and nuts Gray/black phosphate
Lock washers either bright zinc or CAD
Bolts to trailing arm gray/black phosphate


Getting ready to send the hardware out to be refinished.

The u-bolts were black phosphate. The nuts were "plain" finish. The appearance of "plain" finish varies but it may appear much like black or gray phosphate.

The lockwashers were "plain" finish

Half shaft outer flange to spindle flange bolts were black/gray phosphate.
