    68 400Hsp 4 Spd with A.I.R vacuum hoses connection.

There are 3 hoses that comprise this setup besides the 3 hoses that connect the 3 carbs together. My question is: Does it make a difference which way the hoses are attached to second the tee? The hose coming off the smog pump should attach to the bottom of the tee (T) and the choke pulloff and carb vacuum to the other two legs (horizontal) of the tee. Would it make a difference in vacuum performance if the smog hose was connected to one of the legs first and not the down leg?

Function wise I see no reason why it would matter what port a hose was attached to on the T.

John. My thoughts exactly, however, would the smog pump be pushing or pulling vacuum out to the choke pull off and carb or reverse?

The carburetor is the vacuum source. Any change in vacuum would come from this end of the system.
