Who were the lucky winners of the GM Yuma Proving Grounds ride?
Regards,
I don't know how many winners there were, but Dennis Sangamon (from RI) won. He was not at the Awards presentation to hear his name called, but I presume by now he has been notified officially. Perhaps in the spirit of recent Lotto winners, he wishes to remain anonymous. I guess I just blew that. Ah Ha, the Internet strikes again.

Lucky dog! Good for Dennis! He could use a good driving lesson! Just a joke! While in Concord, on the track laps, I was following Dennis. He was driving his ZO6, and I was driving my 72 SB. Lets just say my passenger couldn't believe how well the little SB did against the ZO6! We could have gone a bit faster if the car in front of me,..................LOL
I'm a little surprised to see a C5 on the lift. I didn't think NCRS was judging C5s yet.

We are not. It was a 1998 with 1200 miles (IIRC) and the C5 Judging Manual Team asked to put it up to see details for the manual. Photo OP too. I am always happy to accommodate the Team Leaders and their teams for special cars. We sometimes put Bowtie candidates up so the TL can review the chassis as part of the evaluation for Bowtie sign off also. Of course in those cases we use the car as an example for the Advanced Judging Seminar as well. At the AZ meet we had some folks who were interested in learning about C5s in anticipation of judging them. We do have to build a judging team you know.
