Would the IP stamping on engine block indicate 4 bolt main. I know it designates 427/425 but I didn't know if all were 4 bolt with the 390 HP being the 2 bolt.

Yes IP is would indicate a 4 bolt main block however right above the oil filter will be a plug in the block affirming a 4 bolt block.
