Body on restoration - tips or techniques / best practices??

Until I have more room I will not be able to undertake the body off restoration. In the meantime I can't leave well enough alone so I am working on what I can. Removing, sanding, painting, etc. I was wondering if anybody has any good techniques for body on restorations regarding the following:

    1. Removing paint/grime in hard to reach areas
    2. Removing rust in same areas (looked at mini sandblaster but concluded that was trouble waiting to happen)
    3. Brake lines/emergency brake lines with coils - anyway to remove Bubba's black paint without completely removing.

That is my to do list right now - as always all help is appreciated

    Ken,

What year? I saw in another post that you're from St. Louis. So am I. Are you planning to come to the chapter meeting on Thursday? If so, I'll introduce you to a guy who did a frame on restoration on his 62 due to space limitations. He got a top flight, I believe it was at the St. Louis National convention in 2008.
