My jackwell was painted black when i purchased my car, but the NCRS manual states that the jackwell fiberglass should match the interior color. Given the state of my car when i bought it and the fact that it had been off the road since 1974, i wonder if some of the cars with unusual interior colors had jackwells that were painted black instead of the color of the interior.
-Did red cars really have red jackwells, nassau blue cars with a bright blue jackwells??? Just seems odd, like it would not look right.
Thanks, i am just trying to decide whether to leave it very low gloss black or if i should scuff it and paint it green to match the carpet.
