1960 Fresh Air Hose Brackets- "AAC" Stamping

Anyone have photos of original brackets with "AAC" stamped on one or both brackets? My brackets do not have stamping and I don't remember if they were on the car when I purchased it or if they are repro.

I would like to stamp "AAC" on both of my brackets, but need to know the direction/orientation the letters were stamped on the brackets and approximate letter size, etc.

Go find a 61-2 with an original bracket for the expansion tank - I'll bet the "AAC" is the same.

      Joe,

Here is what I bought for my "60 from Paul Mazut with the markings. Hope this helps.

Joe, sorry for the poor pics, but my straps have never been off the car. The AAC is right in the middle of the bend on my 62.

Thanks for the photos. John, I can't see the AAC on your original brackets. Does the font size and orientation on Robert's look like yours? Top of the capital letters facing front of the car?

John, is there just one set of "AAC" stamped on your brackets? I have been told that the stamping was placed every so many inches after the steel was drawn out in a ribbon, but before the steel was cut to length and the bends were made. I don't know this for a fact. I am sure if I stamp my brackets one time each, I will be covered for NCRS judging.

Joe, just got home from work. The AAC on mine is pretty much straight down the line. I can only see one. With the flaking paint and rust that's about all I can see. They have never been off of the car.
