Does anyone have a copy of the 1971 Corvette Order Form? This is the form that was used by the dealer to actually order the car.

Joe,
I don't have the order form, but I do have the original dealer invoice if that helps. This is the part of the invoice that the dealer kept when they sold the vehicle to the customer.

Re: 1971 Corvette Order Form
I think Joe is looking for the form that the dealer, when ordering a new car, sent to the District Office. If my memory has not faded too bad, it had check boxes for the options on the car, boxes for color codes, etc. I filled out many of them when I worked at the chicken factory as we ordered our vehicles thru the zone.Dick Whittington- Top

Re: 1971 Corvette Order Form
Don't have it for the 1971, but in the July 1970 copy of Motor Trend, they printed the 1970 Corvette (Dealer) Order form as part of an article on "How to Order your New Corvette", which I have in my magazine articles folder.- Top

Re: 1971 Corvette Order Form
Given typical magazine lead times that issue would have been printed in April or so, so that order form might have been the early 1970 form. Does it show LT1 with or without Power Steering?Terry- Top

Re: 1971 Corvette Order Form
Wayne, that would be an early 1970 form. Off the top of my head N40 became available with LT1 about April or so. I am too lazy to look it up to be sure. Of course about the 460-HP = we can only dream.
Thanks for the tip about the Motor Trend magazine though -- that will give me something to look for at swap meets.Terry- Top
