    Corvette auction action

    Just saw a '65 Milano Maroon coupe, 327/300 PG car, vin #0006 delivered to Chevrolet Engineering (verified by NCRS) sell for 47K at Barrett-Jackson. I know it's a PG, but.....................

      I have not seen a single solid axle. Leaving Thursday for my first visit to Barrett Jackson. Should be fun. Don H.

        After buyers 10% and sales tax's thats more like mid $50's plus transportation cost. How much does a 327 auto go for?

          I would think that is close to all the money for that car. Nice, but not highly desirable. I would say "well sold"

            hi donald,
            i am here this week. there is a great 58 big brake car coming up saturday. it's in the showcase pavillion right behind the auction block. there are a few other solid axle cars here too. have fun !! the weather is great.

              Saw the car on TV, some obvious changes in the engine compartment, Valve covers and the like, difficult to actually assess originality or condition. I think the "well sold" is accurate. No mention of what the GM history entailed, could have been used for anything....
