1970-72 Tank Sticker Locations (1972)

Where is tank sticker? On drivers's side or psgr side: on top of tank?
Can it be seen with small light and mirror? I didn't want to pry around
the filler neck to much. Suggestions first then I will do my digging.
I plan on leaving sticker on tank. Does location vary side to side?

I am original owner 1972 base coupe. Have window sticker & build sheet was
found inside car after purchase.

Tank stickers are usually on the left hand side of the tank and sometimes with a screw driver you can lower the rubber collar around the top of the gas tank in which you may or may not see it. Be careful not to inflict damage to the sticker as it is probably fragile.

Mine was on the passenger side of the tank on the forward most part. I was able to touch it from under the car and from the filler opening but waited till the tank was down to remove it. Hope you find a holiday gift!!!

And.. mine is an early '72. I saw on your other post that there seem to be different locations for different years. Good luck!!

I found my 72's build sheet in back of the tach.

My 72's was on the passenger side of the neck.
