Coupes have better road trip space for luggage.
        It's a good life!

If I wanted luggage space I'd get a station wagon. I only drive the car in nice weather so what is better then a convertible on a nice summer day.

              Here's my take on it.
There is nothing like putting the top down on your roadster and going for a ride, ending up at cruise night on a Saturday.
But if you want to go for that same ride and then stand back and look at you corvette, I think the coupe is the much better looking ride.
Just my opinion and you know what opinions are like.

Driving on the national road tour nothing beats a coupe. Reasons: Wife can fill the back, definitely holds more stuff in a coupe. In the rain, and it does rain on road tours, ya stay dry.

I have both and the coupe is preferred for trips with any mileage to them. On a sunny day short ride both are fun.

                    For looks and ride--Coupe
                    For collectible value--Convertible
                    Of course there are exceptions.IMHO

It's the roof line that makes a C2 great looking - the space, and everything else listed here is just extra. I had a SW for sometime and now have a 65 Coupe for 12 years. Love them both.

Gotta have a convert. I just think it's more in line with the carefree concept of a sports car. And I think they look great too, with a long flat back deck. JMHO

Just love the lines of the coupe. You really cant go wrong with either but if I had to pick one it would be the coupe.

When I found my '67 bigblock convertible sitting in a barn in 2005, there were actually two there. A coupe, and a convertible. Both, 400hp original cars. Both, my favorite color of marina blue.

Tough choice but I went with the convertible. Have never regretted my choice.

I've heard for the last 45 years os so that some things in life are all good, ...........but some are just better than others.
At this age, I can't remember what was described like that. It must have been Corvettes...
Good carburetion is fuelish hot air . . .
