Hi all,Still looking for an answer to where I can get a CORRECT# & DATED alternator for my 96!!

Nick,

If you will give us the part number and date or dates you need, I will have the guys pull all the alternators we have with that part number, check the dates and get back with you.

Meanwhile, slip into Auto Zone, Pep Boys, O'Riley's and ask to check the dates on their rebuilds. Just maybe you will find one.

Thanks Joe,
According to the judging manual,they give 2 part #s 10488139 0r 10480202.The build date of the car is April 31 96 so anything prior to that is good.Thanks so much for the help!!!

Nick,

GM calls for a part number 10480202 stamped on the part. That's a Delco 321-1112.
These are remanufactured by Delco and my Microfische are dated September 97.
A year later they were already remanufacturing these alternators showing the tremendous power drain caused by the C-4.
And these are 140Amp Alternators.
Will check the warehouse Monday for the date and number your requested.

Looked in the warehouse and we have 6 of those alternators but none have the original case.
All rebuilds!
