Mid Year hood seals

Were any of the mid year hood seals "secured" at the ends with a pin into the fiber glass?

Thanks Gene, I was just getting ready to put pins in my AO Smith car, I got docked at a chapter meet in Minn. for not having them. The JG does not say anything about AO Smith cars. I drug my feet a little in Minn but got out voted.

Heres a picture, but I have never been able to determine whether they were AOS, ST.Louis specific or not. Hoods can be changed. Obviously this is a St. Louis.

'67 pin hole location. Same hood as above.

Another thing that gives this away as a St Louis hood is the no paint ring where the hood pin screws in. AO Smith hoods this is all painted as pins installed after black paint.

Just for general information not all St Louis hoods got the hole drilled and pins installed. I've come across quite a few without them.

Do we have any very late 66 and or very early 67 examples to know when this started?

Is this hood weatherstrip push-in rivet the same as the metal ones used on the "L" shaped door weatherstrip for 1966-67?

That would make sense since they were on hand, but the example in Wayne's photo above looks larger than the door weatherstrip push-in rivets.
