1965 Seat Belt Buckle Finish

Can someone please clarify the finish of an original '65 seat belt buckle, if it is color coded with a "smooth" finish or a "crinkle" finish to match the interior?

Appreciate it, and a picture of an original '65 buckle would help as well!

Dominic -- here's one off an early '65 (I think) with a 10_24_64 smeared ink stamp on the underside. I'd call it a crinkle finish.
