    1970 STINGRAY emblem

So, I took my LT1 out for a little drive yesterday and when I pulled into the driveway my wife says to me "Your Stingray is missing". Sure enough sometime during the drive the driver's side emblem apparently fell off. First thing I did was redrive the route to see if I could find it, but no luck. Then I took a closer look, and it appears that although there are four holes for mounting the emblem on the fender, only three were being used, and also there was no glue used to hold it on.

I feel lucky, because it appears that I only lost a repro, but now I need to get a new one. Does anybody know if there are any good repros out there? I'd like get one that is as close to original as possible.

    Thanks.

Just make sure that it is made by Trim Parts. They are doing the best out there

      Ken,

Did you by chance drive through Warminster? I thought I saw a grey 70 go by the house. I was in the garage working on the 60.

PS; I have a new GM Stingray emblem part number 3956216 if you are interested or want to compare it to your remaining one.

          Ken,
Just be sure that the emblem you install does not have the horizontal groove under the dot on the "i" . Many replacenents have that feature and originals did not have the groove.
