Rare A/C bracket/support on eBay -- heads up

There's an item (link below) just posted, for the compressor-to-exhaust manifold bracket for '64 and '65, part # 3841696, item 12 on AIM UPC C60, Sheet C1 (in '65, at least). This is an extremely rare item, as it was superceded by the '66-up style with the cut-out for A.I.R. injection nozzles. Pic below shows my '696' with pencil pointing at location of semi-circular indentation found on '66-up.

[I have my original and I picked up another at Carlisle 5 years ago, so I'm OK ]. P.S. This is not my eBay auction .

    Wayne,

Good eye. I just checked my 66 and it does have the notch.

It is amusing to me the number of small details that had to be changed for C60. Like the longer hood release bracket and a different pass side vent grill. Also the change to the drivers side hood brace mount.
And if you believe the Long Island Corvette catalog the 3/4" hose clamp for the water pump is different for 66-67 AC cars.

        Randy -

That's correct - and it's shown in the Assembly Manual; section C60, sheet D3, item #4. It's the only heater hose clamp that isn't a Corbin clamp, only on an A/C car. It's also called out specifically as a screw clamp for that usage in the '67 JG.

Mr. Midkiff's posts - pay attention!

I'm always amused when I see one of Wayne's "information" posts; amused because I can visualize 100s of people dashing out to the garage or wherever they have the parts stored that are "done" just to verify.....
Perhaps, in this case, my "dash" might even prevent another dreaded "running change" argument - '65 #23561 (L79, K66, C60) has the accepted 1965 bracket.
Almost serves as confirmation of C60 - along with the 2 holes in the inner fender for changing the plugs on #2 and #4.
