List of Things... Before C1 Body Drop

Has anyone put together a list of things to do BEFORE you put the body back on the chassis?

Body is painted (Thanks to DET.) and I pretty much have the chassis stuff done (Thank you DXT!) Seems a lot of the trim would be more easily installed prior.

I attempted to search the archives, but I think I was using too many words. Got all kinds of body related posts...

Tom, I'm in the process of making a list myself, for a '59 at the paint shop now. It's on a dolly, and I'm planning to put most exterior trim on before body drop. This will include side cove/door trim, the side spears, side emblems, etc. I figured anything that will be easier to install while it's on the dolly makes sense.

I believe that when originally built at St. Louis, just about all exterior pieces were installed before body drop. This included windshield, soft top, interior, etc...IIRC from Noland's pictures and text in the C1 book.

In my case I'll install windshield, soft top, interior pieces, etc after it's on the frame because it'll be lower to the ground. My body dolly is somewhat high.

Boot at top of tank, nipple and hose with the spring inside.
Reinforcements under floor, for seat belts, etc.
Reinforcement under the shifter boot.
Dust Flaps
ACCELERATOR Swivel and Throttle rod arm on Firewall
Finish on bottom of "bird cage".
Rocker Molding Tabs.
