C-2 headlight motors

Just a thought, has anyone ever cross referenced the motors used in C-2 headlights to other motors used in other applications? I mean like power windows,wipers, or seats. I think we all have seen similar motors used in other areas. It would be nice to be able to source the guts or even the body from another place.

Power window motors are similar, and have a larger longer armature and field coils. But, they are enough different that it wouldnt be feasible to try to convert them.

65 Buick Riviera headlight clamshell openings use a single motor in the center under the bumper. This was a one-year style with the headlights vertical in the fenders. I converted a Vette motor to this Riviera application many many years ago. What a nightmare rod and bell-crank arrangement that was. But a beautiful Billy Mitchell car those 63-65 Rivs were, thinking back I miss that Midnight Agua Grand Sport brass hat car.
