Have a possible 64-67 hardtop, numbers are as listed in bottom corner of back window: 797 1-1966/72 > 080n. Can anyone tell me anything about the number such as which year this is fitted for? Also, what would be a fair price to ask for this hardtop? paint and stainless are in very good condition, inside is good except for the vinyl being a little loose. Thanks, Mike

I listed it on fleabay with a starting bid price of $900, or a buy-it-now for $1,000. An out-of-state buyer hit the buy-it-now within a few hours of listing. He drove about 8 to 10 hours and picked it up with a Chevrolet Tahoe that was minus it's rear seat. The hardtop fit inside the Tahoe.
The top was an unrestored original in good, but not superb condition. Hope this helps.

Re: 64-67 Hardtop
I don't regonize that as a date code, usually there are a letter above the PLEXI logo and one letter below. Maybe it might be good to post a picture.
A far a price, the market has softened, I've seen them go for $500 - 700 recently, along with front end clips, etc for prices you'd never see a couple of years ago.- Top

Re: 64-67 Hardtop
This is not the original hardtop off my L30 trim date 1965 car, but it could be with the E month and E year. The original was sold off the car by the dealer "Pierce Auto Sales" of Canton TX, back in 1986. Was bought by a guy from Dallas (so if buyer was replacing headliner and saw crayon job 204, he's got mine). Amazing how dealers would "flip" parts (hardtops, spare KO wheels, teak) to make a little more profit.
