3870324 Oil Tube Dimensions

I have searched the archives without success to find the dimension(s) and, possibly a picture, of the 3870324 oil tube used on 68 big blocks.

Can anyone help? Thank you.

I don't have a dimension of the 3870324 upper tube but I do have the dimensions of the matching 3925520 dipstick, A = 17 13/32" and B = 18 1/2".

GM # 3870324 was discontinued in November 1970 and replaced with GM # 3981089. The 3981089 upper tube must be used with dipstick # 3981088 (A = 23 13/64" and B = 24").

It appears that I have neither the 3870324 nor the 3981089 oil tubes.

The tube installed on the car currently lies between the two and works just fine, so it will remain for now.
