    C1 Top Warning Tag

Has Anyone Replaced The Warning Tag On A Convertible Top? I Have The One With The Thread Sewn Onto The Tag. Need Advise On How To Do This.

I have seen for judging purposes a few years ago.

Take the NEW tag and sew stitches through it to match the stitching on your present top. And at the Event "Back to Back" tape the tag it it's proper position. I have also seen the tag wrapped in "Saran Wrap" to protect it.

Practice your stitching on old business cards.

        Gary -

Is there a setting on whatever software you're using to turn off the feature that capitalizes the first letter in every word you type? It makes your posts difficult to read.

Oops, two Garys. I was referring to Gary Locklin's posts - that anomaly appears in his post #1 and post #3, but not in post #5.

Found Tags With Thread Sewn Into Tagand Thread Hanging Off Both Ends. Using Sewing Needle And Needle Nose Pliers, I Attached The Tag At Both Ends Going Thru Existing Stitched Holes. Had Plenty Of Thread To Take A Stitch In The Middle Of The Tag To Help Hold It Down Flat. Easy Fix If You Can Get That Dang Thread Thru The Hole In The Needle! Thread Is Exact As Original As Is The Stitching. Looks As Though The Tag Is Sewn On With The Window.
