    LS5 timing tab

On a 1970 LS5 timing tab, are the tick marks 1 degrees or 2? There's an A at the fifth mark up and an R at the 5th mark down. Does the A indicate 5 degrees or 10 degrees?

    Each mark represents 2 degrees.

      Tom -

The "A" indicates "advance", and the "R" indicates "retard" (relative to TDC = Top Dead Center).
