Any Erie, PA. members? Original owner 70 Coupe

I recently bought a 70 Coupe (vin 09516) and am trying to locate the previous owners. The guy I bought it from owned it from 1983-2011.

I've contacted the owner before that and have run into a dead end, he has no interest in giving me any information or names of any previous owners.

The car was originally sold in Erie, PA. by Dailey Chev.(out of business in 74). As far as I can tell it's always been a PA car.

I've e-mailed the Lake Erie Chapter of NCRS and the Presque Isle Corvette club, but didn't receive a response from either one.

Any other ideas?

Mike, sharp car, white walls with white, nice combo. Try local car clubs, some one may have seen the car over the years. Chris

Erie PA member and a previous Presque Isle Corvette Club member here. I do not recognize that car. I've been involved in Corvettes in this area for 30 years. Not saying it hasn't been around, it's just that I haven't seen it.

I have an all PA car too, tough job to push the history back, try the local chamber of commerce for other local businesses or the local museum for papers from the day to see who the sales manager was.

I called them a few months ago. They don't have any documents from Dailey.
