    Wayne:

    Factory service manual states 0.035 inch gap. I typically gap between 0.032 and 0.035 inch.

        If you're running stock points ignition, by all means stick with the standard gap spec.

        If you're running electronic conversion with a higher output coil, you probably can find some advantage with a wider gap - though there are many sceptics that may not agree.

          Hi Wayne, Look on page 43 of the owners manual for spark plug specs. .035 for all. John
