1993 ruby red or dark red

I have a 65 that was painted in 95 with what I was told was 40th anniversary ruby red. I now need to do a touch up and now see that the 93 ruby red and 93 dark red paint seems similar. The paint on my 65 has a fine gold metallic fleck that stands out in the sun but no so much in the shade. I have tried to scan the paint but the readings are all over the place. Anyone with a 40th anniversary or a dark red 93 that can help me out. Thanks all

Hi Dick ! It's hard to identify your color over the computer, but if you post a picture of the car, we might be able to rule out one or the other for you. Is the touch up you need to do need sprayed, or are you brush touching chips ??
