My painter will be using PPGs Deltron Base Coat to paint my 1960. He does not have a formulation for Roman Red. He can get there by matching to the original paint in the trunk area but it would be better if we can find a current formula.
Anyone out there with a formula for Roman Red in the DBC?
Thanks,
Don

I'm using Sherwin Williams...they have a "Formula Express" Link on their web site that allows you to search by year, Mfr, Model, and color name. Here's the link to the SW results for 1960 Chevrolet, Corvette, Roman Red:
PPG also has an automotive color system called "Nexa Autocolor" that allows a search by year, mfr, model and color name or OEM color code. Your painter should be able to get what he needs from that site.
I have found those offset colors will sometimes get you into the correct color family, but most of the time require extensive tinting to get them correct
