Sorry guys this is non Corvette but I have exhausted other resources w no luck Bought 56 Bel Air w 235 6 cylinder last week. Block has small factory hole (approx3/16) on right side under fuel pump and about 2 inches towards rear. Oil leaks out of hole when running. ???

Dave, what you have is a fuel pump issue, The pump diafram has a hole and allows oil from the crank case pressure to push oil out the diafram. Ed the hole is actually in the block below the fuel pump and slightly towards the rear of the car we did replace fuel pump yesterday but assumed oil leak not related. ThanksComment
