On eBay. As if the opening bid is not high enough there is the Reserve Not Met and the shipping is high, too.

FWIW, that's not a bad deal. Have seen Vol 1 # 1 by itself go for more than that.

I think I know who the seller is. He's one of our members here at NCRS.
I agree, that first issue can be very expensive.- Top

Sorry but I see very little value in the old Restorers and absolutely no value in the old Drivelines. If there was a value, maybe I shouldn't have thrown my 30 year collection in the dumpster. I also see nobody has bid on these.
Maybe PT Barnum was wrong.

Several years ago there were some copies made of at least the first Restorer Magazine. Maybe more! The person had copied an issue with ring holes for a binder. Left the circles on the edge. Not a very good forgery!
At least one set of the "Restorer" sold at Cypress Gardens several years ago. Probably only a couple of sets have changed hands thru the years.

On behalf of the members of the NCRS, we are insulted. The idea of saying that!
We are collectors of screws, bolts, the right size nuts and never acuse us of not wanting the correct finish and logo on any of those items. Sometimes we even require the logos be to turned a certain direction on a certain day it was manufactured!
Then attacking some of us for making a living to charge people for those items!!!
Shame!!!!!!!!

Real? Are you saying there are some "restamped" ones out there?Sorry but I see very little value in the old Restorers and absolutely no value in the old Drivelines. If there was a value, maybe I shouldn't have thrown my 30 year collection in the dumpster. I also see nobody has bid on these.

Seems like nobody cares to collect real stuff anymore. I've heard the statement:
"Why bother, all the material is available on CD, or on the Internet, etc".
I guess nobody remembers going through hundreds, if not thousands of Lincoln Head pennies, looking for that elusive 1909 SVDB mint mark.
Of course, it looked like ALL the other Lincoln pennies, but to a collector, it was a real find. It was the "real deal".
I've collected magazines and original literature for decades. Shame is today nobody wants it.
