    Please, any recommendations/advice for 54 6 cyl camshaft replacement part?

      The original is also the stock camshaft from the 261 cu in truck motor.

        GM is still doing this as one year they put a truck cam from a larger displacement truck engine into a corvette that uses the LS series engines. i think it was 2002

          How did they do that??? A straight 6 cam in a V-8 doesn't make sense.

            the cam was out of a LS series V-8 truck engine. the new LS series truck engines are all V-8s and it is the same engine design used in the corvettes since 1997

                if you read my post it says that GM is still putting truck cams in their corvette engines for better performance. the more things change the more they stay the same
