    78 capacitator mounted on intake

I've just completed the rebuild of my 78 L-48 engine. My memory is not what it used to be, and I can't figure out what the capacitator that is mounted on the intake manifold (5/16 bolt) behind the carb is for?? My initial belief was that it was for the heater/AC blower motor, but I can't find where it might plug in to the harness. Or is it for something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Radio noise capacitor. I believe it plugs into a pink wire (circuit 3).

Thanks. I thought thats what it might be given the configuration of the connectors.
