for thoes who helped with my Tele column

thanks. I got the inner shaft and turned it 180 deg and that made it lock into place and work like it should. so the column is in the car and working like it should.

Looks like you found a good service fix for 1966-68 telescoping columns that do not lock. I still can't figure out why the wedge would lock when the shaft was rotated 180 degrees and not in the correct orientation.
