'72 flasher ID and usage questions

I see ambiguous reference that the turn signal flasher is separate from the hazard flasher, from reading the assembly manual. Assy manual refers to the hazard flasher mounted on the fuse block. I do not see location referenced for the turn signal flasher. I assumed they used the same flasher. Wiring diagram sort of indicates the turn signals and hazard are the same flasher.

I also find another flasher hanging from a harness connector on the far passenger side behind the vertical dash pad.

    Questions:

is the hazard flasher the same flasher as turn signal?

if not, where is turn signal flasher located?

Is the far right flasher an alarm flasher for the horn?

My turn signals work. Hazard flasher and alarm does not work.

    Thanks,
    Doug

The turn signal flasher function and the hazard warning flasher function are NOT contained in a single flasher. The turn signal flasher is the one that you have found mounted behind and toward the bottom of the passenger side dash panel. It is retained by a clip on the lower rear of the panel.

The hazard warning flasher is mounted in the fuse block on the extreme left side of the cabin side of the firewall and accessible under the driver side dash panel.

And the alarm "flasher" is mounted on the floor of the passenger's side rear storage compartment. Under the fiber storage tray and beside the jack.

The alarm flasher and the hazard flasher are often (but not always) the same manufacturer and date code. They are always the same style number (that is a variable load unit) as opposed to the turn signal flasher which is a fixed load unit.
