Question for anyone with 95 Pace car......

I'm going to the Frisco (Dallas) Regional this fall with my 95 pace car. In the judging manual it says that the 96's were the only ones that came with the VHS in the glovebox contents. Even tho I am not the original owner a VHS was passed to me with the car I bought that has 1995 marked on the packaging with a couple of inserts stating "congradulations for buying your new corvette etc...." Was this an "after" market tape or what??? any suggestions thanks,,,,, Doug #44087

Don't have the 95 Pace Car but I do have the VCR tape that I received when I bought my 96 LT4 new.
The content of the tape under 96 Technical Highlights (14 minutes) covers the performance enhancements of the LT4.
The VCR tape box is blue, the pamplet with the VCR tape is blue and has Corvette 1996 on it.
The VCR tape has a red sticker on top of the tape and shows the 1996 car emblem and 1996. On the side sticker of the VCR tape it says 1996 CORVETTE.
A letter was also included with a printed signiture of J. C. Perkins General Manager Chevrolet Motor Division.

I don't have a pace car, but I sold plenty of them. They had tapes in there !!!

The tapes were usually in the pocket in the driver's side door panel when the cars arrived from tha factory.

Doug, look up Charlie Fullam here on our member list. Drop him a PM. He will set you straight on what really came with the cars in 95. He has been researching this for a couple of years.

Doug, the video and its contents was sent with the 1994-96, at least, with the instructions to the dealer to place it in the drivers side door compartment. Just arrived back from the Central New Jersey Regional and the driver side door compartment is the place.
