      Hi Dale, I am in the same situation and curious when your car was built. I have an M09, last day of production, and curious if there was a running change at some point from script lettering to block. Hopefully someone out there can assist. Thanks.

          TIM&JG is in error. The "digital word file" of the manual has been updated and I've added a picture of it.
          My 68 is a April 1st built car, it is also BLOCK. I've seen other very early 68's with block letters.
          As time goes on, we learn more.
