          Jim, What I am wanting to see is the shape of the top tint. It doesn't show up very well. I wonder if it would show up better if the picture was taken from the inside? Thank you.

              Russ, this has come up before and there are good pictures in the archives. Sorry, I don't have time to look them up for you now, but I will if no one else posts a picture.

              The tint is much wider on the sides, and you can see this from Jim's photo. The tint does'nt follow the upper edge of the windshield, it goes from a point on one side straight across to the same point on the other side. None of the reproductions are like this, at least to my knowledge.

                    The reason repops dont look like originals is that the windshields today have plastic laminate that is stretched over a conical stretcher to make the shade band follow the roof line.....original parts made in the 60's did not have that technology and excessive shaping so you see the 3" in the middle and 5" on the edges on originals.
