      If the cars are not registered or insured how do they know you have them?

        Hello;
        In some Mandatory Insurance States the seller is required to file a form, detached from the title/registration, informing the his State of the buyer name releasing the seller from the insurance requirement on the sold vehicle.
        When insurance is purchased, said transaction shows up in State records and on your credit report.
        Just some useless info. accumulated over time.
