C1 Steering Column Lower Turn Signal Housing
Over the years, I have tightned the wedge lock so much that I have warped the circular shape of the housing into a slight oval. Is there any way to bring this back to true circle? I would guess not since it is pot metal. CC sells a reproduction that I am going to go with for now.

SURELY you are aware that this is the EXACT same part on 53-54 passenger cars, right????
Find one of those out in the weeds and it will be a heck of a lot cheaper!!!! -

I am not aware of any salvage yards with that vintage of car anywhere close to the Dallas/Ft.Worth, TX area. I would spend more than $55 tracking one down and then purchasing it for few dollars.. I still remember when salvage yards were plentiful. The good old days!Comment
