How do I lube the gears in the drive unit where the tach cable hooks up?
What kind of lube do I use?

I used Lubriplate "A" (white lithium grease) in all of my C1 tach drive gearboxes, never had a problem. Remove the box from the generator, take it apart, clean the parts, lube, put it back together, and re-install.
