'57 Rubber Door and hood moldings

Everyone has probably read the article in the recent RESTORER regarding the installation of the original manufactuer logos in modern/replacement door/hood moldings (great article, BTW...)

Does anyone know whether GM used this same manufacturer of molding (with the logos....) on other Chevy passenger cars or GM cars of the period? Or... is this manufacturer unique to Corvettes....?

there were no manufactures logos on the weatherstrips of the 57 chevy 210 i restored in the past.mike

From my research and help from Bernard Myers and Joe Lucia, the S logo w/s manufacturer was either Sheller Corporation (now Sheller Globe) or a competitor at that time by the name of Schlegel Rubber Rubber Products. The letter on the parts, in this case the S within the diamond shape was an identifier to GM as to who the manufacturer was. I have never seen this logo used on any other passenger car, but not saying it didn't happen. I have seen original w/s for '61's and '62's with O or D, but not S. These were still in packages, so not totally convinced that they were used as factory install or replacement parts. Anyone else see same?
