My car has only the lower metal bracket on fender and squirt nozzles below windshield, and no push button on dash, what is the point deduction or is there any for not having the whole system done, if its not much I would take the deduct and save a bunch. Thanks, Brad.
Thanks John, if everything else is up to snuff, 30 points would not be to bad toward Top Flight vs. another thou. for correct stuff, anybody have what I need correct for this or know of someone? Thanks, Brad.
I agree! Plus, Brad, those old vacuum operated Trico washer systems weren't all that 'hot' in the first place (amount of water delivered to the windshield under various driving conditions).
Plus, you won't take a Full Deduction on the system components since 'some' are there, eh? Yes, the deduction under Operations will be stiff, but the chassis judges will have to interpolate how many points to deduct based on what's there/what's missing.
I would NOT contemplate removing the squirters and other telltale washer components because that IS a full deduction (dealer/owner inspired option addition OR deletion). So, expect to get some partial credit from the chassis judges and lose the operation points...
