My original I kept from years ago has a place for a drain tube on it and also the ears on the wing are turned reverse from all the aftermarket ones I'm seeing.
anyone know who sells a correct one?
this is it but the ears are reverse from my original.

I hope you are not asking for your 1968 because it didn't come originally with a petcock like that. Just a brass or aluminum hex head plug in a right angle fitting on the bottom of the radiator. Functional? NOT.
I put a petcock like that on the cooling system bleed port on my Caprice LT1 -- in the thermostat housing. I got it from my local NAPA store. They just went back and brought out a box with a variety of styles of petcock in bins. I picked what I wanted. That makes bleeding the air out of that reverse flow cooling system just a little more palatable.
What year are we talking about here? Is it a brass or aluminum radiator?
My 63 uses an aluminum petcock. They are, for all intents and purposes, a one time use only piece of junk. The handles will strip off of them the first time you try to open them - even if you didn't tighten it too tight! I changed my method some years ago and only use an open end wrench on the hex portion of the petcock each time I drain the radiator. Besides, Id prefer an even larger opening to ensure drainage of any sediment. For me, the cute little aluminum petcock is just for looks.
