Date Code Question for Early 62 Owners

My 62 (#2272) was built on or about November 3rd 1961. My question is regarding the correct date code for the expansion tank. Would this car use a November date (L) on the expansion tank or is September (J) more in line ? Also is there a good source for the dished hex head bolts with the "U" or "E" marking that attach the hood support to the hood?

I'd absolutely go September. I have 2266, and undisturbed car--I'll let you know if tht is anything other than September.

My original 62 #0029 has a 61H (August 1961).

My '62 #1560, was assembled relatively late in Oct. '61 and has a 61K (October) coolant recovery tank. Jerry

Vin 2787 has a 61K date code. I've owned since 1969.
