1960 Antenna

Just received the CC repro antenna. CC does not appear to sell the GM Part No. 3715383 washer that goes between the plastic top cap and the metal nut. What is the washer supposed to looke like? Do I need it for a daily driver? Does anyone repro it?

Joe,
I do not think you need the washer. I have a '60 with a new antenna that does not have the washer. Go for it.

The washer is a small white felt about 1/16" wall thickness. It was to keep dirt out of the antenna so it slid easily. No repros have the felt. A lot of originals are also missing the washer.
