67 BB Valve Cover Bolt ID Help

Looking for help identifying an early 67 BB valve cover bolt headmarking. Attached are two pictures of valve cover bolts. One is a repro with "TR" headmark purchased from a Corvette parts supplier. The other bolt is identified with "TH" and three lines indicating grade. The "TH" bolt is also about 1/16" longer than the repro. I've not seen this headmark before. Could this represent a correct bolt for the application from a different GM bolt supplier?
    thanks,
    Dereck

    Dereck,

the TH is an aftermarket supplier/hardware store brand bolt not used on 67's. The grade 5 bolts for 67 valve covers would have one of several headmarkings some of which are, TR, SBC, RSC, RBW, L5 I know I'm forgetting a few here...remember the longer grade 5 bolts were only used in 4 locations which was under the ground strap loops for the plug wires. If you had radio delete then all 14 bolts would be grade 2 and the shorter style.

    Hope this helps, Rich

Your welcome! I'll post pictures later tonight or tomorrow of original Valve cover bolts (both the grade 2 short stryle and grade 5 longe style)

Here are a few of the longer grade 5 bolts (I did not clean the heads and some are tough to see) They are SBC, SB, A, TR, NAT, RBW, L5 and P. I have others but this gives you an idea of what some are.

              Rich,
Thanks for the pics. I was hoping I had some originals in a box of fasteners I had from back in the 80's. No luck. I'll have to hunt down some. The pics are a big help.
              thanks,
