Steering wheel on 1960

I am thinking of putting a 15 inch steering wheel on my 1960 vette. I still have manual steering - any issues - is it going to be difficult to turn or drive - I just want the extra room

Should not be a problem. These cars put the "manual" in manual steering!

The extra room is well worth it. If you use a 15 leather covered wheel you will love the feel and the extra room. Contact Chuck Pelton (248 681-4336) he makes a great 15" covered wheel for Corvettes.

I have a Rosewood reduced size wheel on my 60. Works well and looks great

I have a leather wrapped 15" in my 59. The room is great, I'm 6'3", and the steering is not all that difficult unless you are not moving. The only problem I have is the steering wheel is in direct line with my speedometer. I have to move forward to see over the top of the wheel. Sully
