What does a 3951576 green tip dipstick go to, it has a full circle finger pull on the end, meaning the loop is centered on the pull, not all on one side. It has a M on it and use SE oil.???????

Keith -- I'm not an expert, but looking in my Rev 7-1-69 P&A30 parts book this part # shows for 1969 Passenger (8 cyl) (exc. 396, 427).. The A dimension is 17_5/16" and the B is 18_3/16".
The 1969-1971 3951576 dipsticks were stamped "USE GM 6041-M-QUALITY MS OIL" on the stick part after the "FULL" stamping and were used on most all 350 Chevrolets including the 69 -71 Z28's and 69-71 SS350 Camaros. There were at least 2 vendors that made them. The 3951576 dipsticks with the "flat tip" at the end of the loop on the handle also have the letter "E" stamped right after the "USE GM 6041-M-QUALITY MS OIL". The 3951576 dipsticks with the green plastic tip at the end of the loop on the handle do not have an additional letter.
The 1972, 1973, and possibly newer 3951576 dipsticks were stamped "USE SE ENGINE OIL".
I believe that the 3951576 dipsticks made in the 1980's also have the part number stamped on the stick portion as well.
The 3951576 dipstick was used on various 1969-1979 small block Chevrolet engines.
