Have a 1966 1/2 ton fleetside pick-up truck sporting an L6 250/PG that is missing original AC radiator cap. Owners manual calls for a 7lbs cap. Can anyone tell me what AC RC- number was original for this vehicle. Tried other forums but recieved no responce! Anybody?

If you wait until Christmas(and remind me) I can check the cap on my Gramp's 65. It's all original with just over 21k miles. Too bad it wasn't a Corvette!

Are you sure the owner's manual calls for a 7 lb cap? Such caps were not generally used after about 1964, so I'm surprised that the owner's manual for a 1966 C-10 series truck would call for that. However, IF the truck used a 7 lb cap, then the RC-1 would be the one.

Everything I can find indicates that a 13 lb cap was used for your application (except for applications with AC). That cap would be an RC-6.
