    Interesting Paint Code Chart

    Here is a paint code chart with almost everything you need; including
    pictures. It was on the Camaro Board I belong to.

    Thanks. Very handy. Wonder if the Argent Silver for 68 GMC truck is anything like the Argent Silver for a Corvette?

        Maybe I missed it but didn't see anything for 1965/66 Nassau Blue

            If all of the various manufacturer's paint codes are correct, can you use any of them?

            For example, if your car is a Rally Red 1967, there are four different paint manufacturer codes shown (not counting the GM paint code):

            Ditzler PPG = 71491

            Dupont = 4688LH,
            or 93-97541H

            Sherwin Williams = 9534

            Are they all correct, in which case you try to obtain samples of each and pick the one you like best?

              Scott, I believe that they are period codes, none of which are applicable today. Most, if not all, of the mixing colors are gone, the binders, metallic particles, etc are different today. I know that PPG offers offset mixing formulas, a good starting point to work with. Also, if you have an original panel or good spot of original color most jobbers can scan it for you and get you pretty close.
