1966 Export car

JUst got the delivery data information on a 66 that I am restoring. Came back Zone 21 dealer 1 with no knowledge of what dealer that is as I think it could be any export dealer. I had someone say they think, according to their records that it was sold in the netherlands. After finding out this info I have since noticed that it looks like someone had filled some holes on the passenger side fender where an export VIN/INfo tag may have been installed. There looks to be four holes. After looking at pics of the Swiss racer that proteam had, it only had a plate with 2 rivets(2 holes). My question is would a 66 export tag be different from the 65 (Swiss Racer)? Does anyone have any pics of a 66 export tag? Is it possible that different countries had different tags? After all the Swiss car says Swiss embossed in the, so I know the working would be different, but what about the shape? Any help would be greatley appreciated as I would like to put this car back correct. It is a laguna blue/black 427/425 conv.

Hi, my car 1964 is also from zone 21, I was told from the previous owner that my car was sent to Germany for a Air Force officer. My car also has the Autronic Eye installed for dimming the headlights and I was told it was needed for the autobon. If you dig up any information I would be interested.

Yes, different countries had different sized plates with different placing and numbers of holes... I have some examples in my library proving this (e.g. from France & Belgium)...
